Portfolio

Selected work

Work for real businesses, products of my own, and self-directed studies — grouped so you can tell which is which. Every project has a case study behind it.

Client work

Built for real businesses, with the constraints real businesses come with.

Products

My own products — designed, built and shipped end to end.

Studies

Self-directed builds. The companies are invented; the craft is not.

Who you'd be working with

One person, start to finish.

No account managers, no hand-offs, no work sent elsewhere.

I'm Ugljesa, and I work from Belgrade, Serbia. I design and build everything on this page myself — the interface, the code, the copy and the deploy. When you email Farsight Studio, the person who replies is the person doing the work.

That's a deliberate size rather than a stage I'm hoping to grow out of. A studio of one can't take on twenty projects at once, and it also can't lose your requirements between a salesperson, a designer and a developer who never spoke to you.

I work in Serbian and English, in person around Belgrade and remotely anywhere. Most of what I do happens over email and video calls, so if you're in another timezone it changes nothing except when the replies land.

  • Based in Belgrade, Serbia
  • Timezone CET / CEST
  • Working languages Serbian, English
  • Reply time Within 2 working days
  • You talk to the builder

Nothing gets lost being relayed, and there's no quote from someone who won't be writing the code.

  • Everything is hand-coded

No page-builder, no theme, no plugin stack. That's why these sites load in well under a second and have nothing to break on update day.

  • Two languages, properly

Not a translated copy that drifts out of date — one site that detects the visitor's language, remembers the choice, and keeps both versions in step. See it on Amfora.

  • Small enough to care about details

The kerning, the empty state, the thing that happens on a slow connection. Those are the whole job, not the polish at the end.

What it costs

Three starting points

Every project gets its own itemised quote before any work begins — but you shouldn't have to email a stranger to find out whether you're in the right shop. These are real starting figures.

One page

from€450

A single page that does one job well — who you are, what you do, how to reach you. Right for a new business, an event, or a first presence online.

  • Design and build from scratch
  • Contact form that reaches your inbox
  • Written for search from day one

Usually 1–2 weeks

Full site

from€1,200

Several pages with a real structure behind them — services, work, about, contact. Right for an established business whose current site is holding it back.

  • Everything in One page
  • Up to eight pages, structured for growth
  • Bilingual Serbian / English if you need it
  • A content editor, if you want to self-edit

Usually 3–5 weeks

Web app

from€3,000

Software with a database behind it: bookings, records, accounts, reports. Right when a spreadsheet has stopped coping.

  • Everything in Full site
  • Accounts, roles and permissions
  • Your data, on infrastructure you own
  • Built to be handed over, not rented back

From 6 weeks, scoped together

Included in all three: a site that loads in under a second, works on every screen, and meets accessibility standards — not as extras, because they aren't. Plus two weeks of adjustments after launch.

What moves the number: how many pages, whether the content exists yet, whether anything has to talk to another system, and how fast you need it. Tell me what you're building and you'll have a fixed quote before anyone commits to anything.

How I work

Four steps, and what each one needs from you

The same shape on every project. The honest version: most delays aren't the building — they're waiting on content and decisions, so both are named here.

01

Work out what it's for

A call, then a written brief you approve: who the site is for, what you want them to do, and what counts as it having worked. If a page can't be tied back to one of those, it doesn't get built.

From you: an hour, and honesty about what hasn't worked so far.

02

Design it in the open

You see real screens, not a mood board — the actual homepage with your actual words in it, on a link you can open on your phone. Two rounds of changes are included; almost nobody needs the second.

From you: feedback in one pass, gathered from whoever else gets a say.

03

Build it properly

Hand-coded, tested on real phones, checked for speed and accessibility as it's written rather than audited at the end. You get the staging link the day there's something to look at.

From you: final text and images. This is the step that stalls if they're not ready.

04

Launch, then stay reachable

I handle the domain, the hosting and the move. Two weeks of adjustments are included afterwards, because things you only notice once it's live are still my problem.

From you: access to your domain, or ten minutes while I set a new one up.

Good to know

Questions, answered

The things people usually ask before I start. Anything else — just reach out.

How much does a website cost?

A single page starts at €450, a full multi-page site at €1,200, and a web app with a database behind it at €3,000 — the pricing section sets out what each one includes. Those are starting figures, not a price list: what moves the number is how many pages there are, whether the content already exists, and whether anything has to talk to another system. You get a fixed, itemised quote before any work begins.

How long does a project take?

One to two weeks for a single page, three to five for a full site, and from six for a web app. The building is rarely what makes a project late — waiting on text, photographs and decisions is. If you have your content ready, the fast end of those ranges is realistic.

Where are you based, and do you work in Serbian?

Belgrade, Serbia — CET, so most of Europe is a same-day conversation. I work in Serbian and English, and I can build your site in both: one site that detects the visitor's language and remembers it, rather than two sites that drift apart. Around Belgrade I can meet you in person; everywhere else works over email and video calls.

Do I need to provide the content and images?

Whatever you have, I'll work with — and where there are gaps, I'll help shape copy and source or create visuals so nothing looks like a placeholder. You don't need everything ready on day one.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

If you'd like to. I can build in a simple content editor so you can change text, images and pages without touching code — and I'll walk you through it. Prefer to hand it off entirely? My maintenance plans cover that too.

What happens after launch?

I don't disappear. Every site ships with a short settling-in period for tweaks, and you can keep me on for ongoing updates, monitoring and priority fixes whenever something comes up.
